We asked Junior 1- “What is your favorite part about Gov School?”

“The superior education I receive here at Gov. School. It has a great focus on environmental science, and the teachers work with each student in order to help them improve and accomplish things. They also provide engaging hands-on projects here that I really enjoy.”

We also asked Junior 1- “What is your favorite part of research?”

“The teachers provide you a lot of help because they are very experienced in the topics you are researching about. I also enjoy learning more about a topic I am very interested in.”

We asked Junior 2 - “How would you compare Gov School to your home school?”

“At Gov School everyone is willing to talk to you… but really it's always so collaborative that everyone gets along. There’s no drama, and it's more focused on academics and we do a lot more fun events.”

We also asked Junior 2 - “What is one piece of advice you would give to incoming MRGS juniors?”

“Budget your time wisely and do not procrastinate getting your work done. Enjoy your time here, it will go by fast.”

We asked Senior 1- ”What is your favorite part of research?”

"I enjoy being able to do offsite research such as caving. This allows me to see and learn more about my research project hands on."

We also asked Senior 1 - “What is your favorite class at Gov. School?”

"I enjoy them all equally. Each class has its own interesting topics and activities that I enjoy. "

We asked Senior 2 - “What advice would you give to incoming MRGS Juniors?”

"Don't procrastinate your work. It will be very hard to catch up if you get behind. Also find balance within your school work so you aren't so stressed."

We also asked Senior 2 - "How has Gov School helped you when applying for college?"

"The rigorous course work at Gov School along with the Dual Enrolled and AP classes help prepare me for college. The teachers also help you when applying to college by creating collage essay application assignments and they answer any of your application questions."
